What’s On each week

Do join us to start the week with Celtic morning prayer on Mondays, 9.30-10.00am at St Andrew’s. No meetings on Dec 24 or 31.

A home discussion group meets on Monday evenings and there is a prayer meeting on a Tuesday morning, normally at Windfalls, Hollom Down Road. Newcomers are welcome. No meetings on Dec 24, 25, 31, Jan 1.

Tea Time Praise is a more informal service for all ages which takes place at 4.00pm normally on the second Sunday of the month in Over Wallop Church Hall – videos, worship and the Word; coffee/tea and cakes.  The next one will be on January 13th. Everyone is welcome.

A short service of favourite hymns is held normally on the afternoon of the first Sunday of the month (except December when there will be a carol service at 2.30pm on Sunday 16th) at Winton House Nursing Home, for residents and visitors.

Coffee Club meets in the Nether Wallop Village Hall from 1030 to 1200 on the third Wednesday  – everyone is welcome. The next one will be on December 19th; a short service of Holy Communion is held in St Andrew’s Church at 1030 and communicants may go on to the coffee morning afterwards.

Children

The annual Christingle service will be at 5.30pm on Christmas Eve in St Peter’s Church, a festive occasion in aid of the Children’s Society. Children are invited to come dressed up as shepherds, sheep, wise men or in other appropriate ways!

Little Angels (Parents and toddlers) takes place every Wednesday in school term time in St Peter’s Church Hall, from 9.30-11.30am.

On the third Sunday of the month, there is normally a Sunday School (“IMPRESS”) for children in KS1 and KS2. Next one December 16th.

Keep it Reel is a film club for Y6 plus (children aged 10 and over) held normally on the last Sunday of the month from 6.00 to 8.00pm in the Over Wallop church hall, but as a result of Vanessa’s study leave, the Club is now in abeyance until January.
