Forthcoming events

The news sheets for the week beginning on Nov 26th and December 3rd are accessible opposite. The next service at St Peter’s will be Family Worship at 9.30am on Dec 3rd and on the same day there will be a Patronal Evensong (BCP) at St Andrew’s Nether Wallop. The full diary for our six parishes is to be found by clicking on Sunday services but please note that the Lighting of the Tree at Quarley will now take place next Sunday (a week later than originally advertised).

One other event this month (an Advent quiet reflection on Wednesday evening and again on Thursday morning) is announced here (the WhatsOn page).

The news sheet for the week beginning on Nov 26th is here and for Dec 3rd here. Anyone resident in our Benefice area may receive these weekly bulletins by email on request to the Team Administrator at assistant.pdb@gmail.com

Parishioners are invited to join the ministry team for morning prayer in one of the Benefice churches from Monday to Thursday each week, except in certain holiday weeks: the venues and times may be seen here. The prayers follow the pattern set for Common Worship and last about 30 minutes.

A prayer for peace in the world
Lord of lords and Prince of peace, we cry out to You to restrain the forces of evil and to give wisdom beyond human wisdom to peacemakers who seek the end of violence and equitable solutions. We pray for the church that Your people may be strengthened in their faith to trust You each day. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen
